How to create a school on Blue Assembly

Here school admins can view and filter all registered and accepted students in the school/branch.

Add students:
Go to “Guardians” at the left menu
Click “Add Students”
Fill form 
Click Submit

Import students:
Go to “Students”
Click “Import”
Click “Download the template” to download an excel sheet template
Fill in the downloaded file
Click “Select the data file” and upload the filled in excel template
Click “Submit”

View students’ full profile:
Go to “Students”
Click on a student’s row, you’ll be redirected to the student’s profile page

Edit students’ information:
Go to “Students”
Click on a student’s row, you’ll be redirected to the student’s profile page
At “Information” section; click the pencil icon
Edit then click “Submit”

Assign students to classes:
Go to “Students”
Click the three dots at the right of each student’s row 
Click “Assign to Class”
Choose a class
OR 
Go to “Students”
Click on a student’s row, you’ll be redirected to the student’s profile page
Click “Assign to Class”
Choose a class

Assign students to guardians:
Go to “Students”
Click the three dots at the right of each student’s row 
Click “Assign Guardian”
Click on a guardian’s name
“Relationship” popup will appear; choose a relation between the student and guardian from the dropdown menu
Click “Assign”

Delete a student:
Go to “Students”
Click the three dots at the right of each student’s row 
Click “Delete”
A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to delete a student.

Students Management

Create a staff member:
Go to “Staff” at the left menu
Click “Add Staff”
Fill form 
Click Submit

Import staff members:
Go to “Staff”
Click “Import”
Click “Download the template” to download an excel sheet template

Click “Select the data file” and upload the filled in excel template
Click “Submit”

Edit a staff member’s info:
Go to “Staff”
Click on the staff member’s row, “Edit” drawer will open
OR click on the three dots at the right of its row , then click “Edit” to open the Edit drawer.
Edit then click “Submit”

Set role for a staff member:
Go to “Staff”
Click the three dots at the right of each staff row 
Click “Set Role”
Set Role drawer will open, choose a role; then click “Submit”

Assign a staff member to a class:
Go to “Staff”
Click the three dots at the right of each staff row 
Click “Assign Class”
Choose a class to assign to a staff member

Delete a staff member:
Go to “Staff”
Click the three dots at the right of each staff row 
Click “Delete”
A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to delete a staff member.

Add a new registration:
Click “Registration” 
Click “Add”
Fill in form 
Click “Submit”

Import registration:
Click “Registration”

Accept a student’s registration:
Click “Registration”, you’ll be redirected to the Registration page.
Click on the three dots on the right side of a student’s row
Click “Accept”
A confirmation popup will appear; click “OK” to accept the registration
The accepted student will now be removed from the Registration page and will appear on the Students page.

Edit a registration:
Click “Registration”, you’ll be redirected to the Registration page.
Click on one of the rows, you’ll be redirected to a page that shows full information on that student.

Delete a registration: 
Click “Registration”, you’ll be redirected to the Registration page.
Click on the three dots on the right side of a student’s row
Click “Delete”
A confirmation popup will appear; click “OK” to delete the registration. The student will now be removed from the Registration page.

Unassign guardians to students:
Go to “Guardians”
Click the three dots at the right of each guardian’s row
Click “Show Dependants”
Click the “X” sign next to assigned student
A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to unassign student.

Delete a guardian:
Go to “Guardians”
Click the three dots at the right of each guardian’s row
Click “Delete”
A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to delete a guardian

Create an entire school event:
Go to “Events” 
Click “ + New Event”
At “Event Target”; make sure “Entire School” radio button is clicked
Fill the rest of the form 
Click “Submit”
The event will appear on the Calendar. 

Create a class specific event:
Go to “Events” 
Click “ + New Event”
At “Event Target”; make sure “Specific Classes” radio button is clicked
Click “+” next to “Classes”
Click on the class/classes the event is for
Fill the rest of the form 
Click “Submit”
The event will appear on the Calendar. 

Create a trip type event:
Go to “Events” 
Click “ + New Event”
At “Event Target”; make sure “Specific Classes” radio button is clicked
Click on the “Trip” checkbox
Click “+” next to “Classes”
Click on the class/classes the event is for
Fill the rest of the form 
Click “Submit”
The event will appear on the Calendar. 

Edit an Event:
Go to “Events” 
At the calendar; click on an event
The “Edit Event” drawer will open
Make the edits, then click “Save”

Delete an Event:
Go to “Events” 
At the calendar; click on an event
The “Edit Event” drawer will open
Click “Delete”
A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to delete event.

Create a class:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click “Add Class”
Choose a level for the class, type a class name, then choose its capacity.
Click “Submit”

View a class full information:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click on a class row 
You’ll be redirected to the class page where you can view and edit the staff and students assigned to the class.

Assign a teacher to a class:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click on a class row 
You’ll be redirected to the class page where you can view and edit the staff and students assigned to the class.
At the “Staff” section, click “Add Teacher”
“Select Teacher” popup will appear, click on the teachers names you’d like to assign to the class.

Unassign a teacher from a class:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click on a class row 
You’ll be redirected to the class page where you can view and edit the staff and students assigned to the class.
At the “Staff” section, click on the three dots next to a teacher’s name, then click “Unassign”.A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to unassign a teacher from class.
OR  click “Add Teacher”. “Select Teacher” popup will appear, click on the “X” sign next to assigned teachers; in order to unassign.

Add a student to a class:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click on a class row 
You’ll be redirected to the class page where you can view and edit the staff and students assigned to the class.
At the “Students” section, click “Add Student”
“Select Student” popup will appear, click on the students names you’d like to assign to the class.

Remove a student from a class:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click on a class row 
You’ll be redirected to the class page where you can view and edit the staff and students assigned to the class.
At the “Students” section, click  on the three dots next to a student’s name
click “Unassign”.A pop-up confirmation warning will appear; click “Ok” to unassign a student from class.

Import a class:
Click “Classes” at the left menu
Click “Import”

Classes Management

To manage school branches. Here school admins can add and edit branches of their school. 

Create a branch:
At the bottom of the left menu; Click “Settings” 
Click “Branches”
Click “Add Branch”
Fill in form then click “Submit”
Edit branch:
At the bottom of the left menu; Click “Settings”
Click “Branches”
Click the pencil icon next to a branch
Edit then click “Submit”

Switching between branches:
At the top-left corner of the page, click on the dropdown menu next to “Branches. The default is “See all” which displays data from all school branches. Click on a branch to only display data that belongs to that specific branch.

To manage school Levels to be assigned to classes.

Add level:
Go to “Settings” 
Click “Levels”
Click “Add”
Fill in form, then click “Submit”

Edit level:

Language:
To change the app language, first log in and then follow these steps:
Click on the triple bar icon at the upper left corner of the screen.
Select "Account Settings"
Choose "Language"
Select your preferred language and click "Save"

Edit Profile:
To edit your profile, follow these steps:
Click on the triple bar icon at the upper left corner of the screen.
Select "Edit Your Profile"
Alternatively, you can click on your name to view your account information, then select "Edit Profile"
Edit your first and last name, city, and profile photo as desired.
Click "Save" at the upper right corner of the screen to save your changes.

Notifications:
Customize the push notifications you receive from the Blue Assembly app by following these steps:
Click on the radio buttons next to each notification type to enable or disable them.

To view your contacts and send messages, follow these steps:
Click on the triple bar icon at the upper left corner of the screen.
Select "Messaging"

View Public Calendar:
To view the public calendar, follow these steps:
Click on the triple bar icon at the upper left corner of the screen.
Select "Public Calendar"
Click on the available events on calendar to view full details on each of them.

To create posts; admins and teachers can click on the plus sign on the landing screen and then click on the type of post they would like to create. There are different types of posts that can be created.

Text Posts: To create a text post, navigate to the text post section and enter your message in the text box. You can also add images or videos to your post by clicking the plus icon under the attachments section. Tagging is required.

Attendance Posts: To create an attendance post, navigate to the attendance post section and select the event or activity for which you want to take attendance. You can then mark each attendee as present or absent.

Event Posts: To create an event post, navigate to the event post section and enter the details of the event, such as the date, time, location, and description. You can also add images or videos to your post by clicking the camera icon.

Camera Posts: To create a camera post, navigate to the camera post section and take a photo or video using your device's camera. You can then add a caption, tag students and share the post.

Media Upload Posts: To create a media upload post, navigate to the media upload post section and select the file you want to upload from your device's storage. You can then add a description or caption, tag students and share the post.

Activity Posts: To create an activity post, navigate to the activity post section and select the type of activity you want to post about, such as a workout or meal. You can then enter the details of the activity.

Click "Proceed to Enroll" to enroll your child in the trip,
Select your child's name from the list of enrolled children,
